Donations through this form are tax-deductible in the US. Donors from other nations are encouraged to use this form, or contact us at donations@athefa.org to explore other options.

  • Yes! While we prefer donations to our “General Fund” so that we can fund the most deserving applicants - we understand that some donors have a personal connection to our mission in a certain nation.

    Please write in the comment section of the donation form if you would like to earmark your donation for a particular country (we currently offer scholarships in Cambodia and Uganda, with more to come!)

    If you want to further personalize your giving, please consider a sponsored scholarship.

  • While we aim for 80%, we guarantee a minimum of 75% of your donation goes directly to our scholarships, a buffer given in case of drastic forex changes.

    We operate with as lean as possible overheads, no paid staff and only keep what is necessary for admin costs and marketing our cause to make greater impact. We keep all funds that don’t go directly to our Scholarship Recipients and programs out of the 75-80% figure.

  • We are registered as a charity in the USA, partnering with xxxxxx xxxxxxxxx allows us to also allow tax-deducible donations to our Australian donors.

    As a NFP, xxxxxx does take a small percentage cut of all donations to allow it to provide these services.

  • While we don’t allow donors to select recipients, we do offer Named/Sponsored Scholarships that let you further customize your donation.
